The Nest Box Egg Company (Golden Irish) provides a range of products for the wholesale, retail, and food service industries. With a supplier base of 26 family-run farms that provide Free Range, Organic, and Enriched Colony eggs, they successfully deliver a complete range of private label and branded solutions within the Irish and export markets.

The challenge will address a problem with packing eggs into boxes (Pick & Place).

Due to the physical demands of the work, it has become difficult to retain staff to complete Pick & Place at speed, leading to high labour turnover costs. Nest Box Eggs is looking to the Innovation Exchange for a solution to automate this process, integrating with their current systems and conveyors.
