As part of our Impact Selling Upskilling Platform, we’re delighted to offer The Innovation Exchange members the opportunity to work towards an industry-approved and university credit-rated sales qualification – a Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurial Sales. The course, which is delivered by ESI, is self-paced and delivered online and is fully subsidised for The Innovation Exchange members.

ESI provides a stackable university-grade certification programme consisting of 4 micro-credentials. This programme is designed for commercial professionals globally. Each micro-credential achievement builds to a more senior certification – ultimately leading to ESI’s Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurial Sales. This flagship credential is rated at 20 Academic Credits on the Scottish Credit & Qualifications Framework (SCQF) (Level 8). Participants can complete each micro-credential online at their own pace over a period of 12 weeks.

Coming into the course I was looking for a refresher as I have worked in sales for 30 years and I have done a lot of sales training. It is always good to refresh and refine my thinking – remembering how to listen, be transparent and ask the right type of questions. The content was very informative giving me a refresher in many areas but also opening me up to new ways of thinking and new approaches.

The introductory call was very informative and helped me to understand what was expected. The access to support from the ESI team was very good and I knew they were there if I needed support. The introductory and catch-up sessions created a nice networking opportunity within the Innovation Exchange group taking part.

I would recommend the microcredentials to experienced salespeople looking for a refresh but also to anyone who is interested in sales or is involved in sales as part of their role. The time commitment was very manageable, and the self-paced nature of the course allowed me to complete small amounts of content at a time in line with my own schedule and work commitments. The main thing I got from this was that I want to do another one!
