Meet our speakers

Dermot Lahey

Dermot joined Digital Realty in November 2020 with expertise in the datacentre industry and a depth of understanding of assisting companies with their IT infrastructure migrations, informing IT strategy and impacting commercial decisions. As Head of Client Services, Dermot leads Digital Realty Ireland’s customer facing operations with a focus on delivering growth and enabling businesses to manage digital transformation. Before joining Digital Realty, Dermot, who holds a BBS Degree from Waterford Institute of Technology, held a number of different customer facing roles within Colocation and Managed Services Datacentre providers including Continent 8 Technologies and BT Ireland.

John Stone

John joined Digital Realty in August 2020 with prior experience as a technology leader within multiple IT industry verticals, a depth of understanding of how hybrid cloud architectures are transforming business processes while addressing customer risk, compliance and sustainability goals. As Senior Consultant, John, works within the Global Strategy & Business group focussed on business model validation of investment and sustainability benefits for Digital Realty partners. Before joining Digital Realty John, who holds an MSc in Applied Cyber Security from TU Dublin, held a number of different roles within Cisco, and Continent 8, where his position was CTO for Cisco Ireland and Global CTO for Continent 8 Technologies.”
