The Innovation Exchange is gathering speed!

The Innovation Exchange is delighted to announce that Icon  and TOMRA are the latest businesses to join The Innovation Exchange, bringing the total number of corporate partners involved to 22.

Since Its launch in February, 14 corporate challenges have been published via The Innovation Exchange covering several sectors including health, insurance, hospitality, food and energy. Over 230 proposals have been submitted by SMEs and, to date and 23 SMEs have been invited for further discussions with three different corporate partners. Of those, 16 have moved to the next proof of concept stage and our first deal closed in August 2022.

Icon and TOMRA  join ESB, Permanent TSB, Heineken, Dawn Farms, AXA Ireland, SSE Airtricity, Cliste Hospitality, Ryanair, Glanbia, An Post, Musgrave, IBM, Microsoft, Exertis, Carbery, and many others. It is expected that each corporate will present at two challenge events each year.

Programme Cost

The programme is managed by Furthr and funded by Skillnet Ireland. The funding model does require a nominal contribution from all participants which has been set at €250 per company. There are no other costs associated with the programme.
