Turmec is a world leader in recycling solutions, offering planning, design, manufacturing, installation and support to waste & recycling industry experts across the globe.
Turmec’s engineering department designs equipment and structures using PTC Creo whilst many of their fabrication partners use Tekla Structures as their primary production software platform. The challenge is to develop an automated conversion pipeline from PTC Creo to IFC 2×3 format, enabling fabricators to import models directly into Tekla without rework and minimise manual effort.
