We are delighted to bring a challenge from Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI).There are a few issues faced by SBI as follows: Membership numbers have decreased significantly over the past 2 decades and feedback from clubs is that footfall has also dropped drastically, especially among younger age groups. Inter-club competitions have fallen away and most clubs operate in silos with no standardised handicap system for registered players. The opportunity is to use Sports Tech to increase engagement and simplify administration!SBI wish to create an online and app-based platform that centralises membership, communication, competition management, payments & performance tracking for players of all ages and standards. It will reduce administration time for SBI and create an interconnected network of clubs and players, allowing for the creation of regional competitions along with a standard handicap system.Challenge details here.If you would like to make a submission to the Snooker & Billiards (SBI) Challenge, please do so by COB 21st March 2025 using this template.

We are delighted to announce a challenge from Cork County Council. This is an interesting digital transformation challenge where the Council requires a SAAS solution to facilitate the management of driver licences for the Councils own fleet of owned and leased fleet of approximately 600 vehicles. Currently there is no current standard system of Fleet Management. Relevant line managers all over the County keep paper copies and/or excel spreadsheets to prove compliance with Road Safety legislation and council policies and procedures.Cork County Council are actively looking for a software solution that will allow them to automate and manage the process to allow both individual managers and central managers the ability to manage notifications, reminders of licences expiring and renewals. As Cork County Council is a public body, there very strict security systems for IT and compliance with relevant GDPR requirements. If you would like to make a submission to the Cork County Council challenge, please do so by COB 20th March 2025 using this template.
